What's included inside our campervan vehicles
- Easy to use fully equipped kitchen,
huge double bed on top with ladder, gas cooker, sink, all cooking utensils, 35-liter fridge drawer
to keep food cold, 20-liter water tank, table with two chairs, CD player, and Ipod port. Everything
pops out or up, easy to set up and put away when you are ready to roll again. Bedding includes
fitted sheets, sleeping bags are available at extra charge, however you can bring your own. You
will need to bring or purchase your own pillows. Inside Storage
- There is some room for your clothes in drawers, however, pack light if more
than two people are traveling. See vehicle photos in our

FREE Kms Kilometers
- We offer free kilometers with your campervan
rental.
Walkabout Wagons Campervan Accommodates
- Vehicle accommodates two people comfortably, but
they have been hired out by as many as five people. If more than two adults hire a
campervans, we rent tents to accommodate additional people. If a small child is traveling
with two adults they can sleep up top with parents. We also have baby seats available for
rental during your trip and are the only campervan company who can accommodate a small child with
child restraint seat belt harness.
Campervan Vehicles - Economical low profile station
wagon-type vehicle designed as a campervan by Walkabout Wagons and built by
Ford especially for the roads and driving in Australia. Campervans have Automatic
transmission, Air-conditioned, CD player, Ipod port, seats up to 5 passengers and come
equipped with camping essentials as noted above. Note: 2WD not 4WD so they cannot be taken into off
road areas where a 4WD is required to navigate the
road.
Trailer Hitches, Bike Racks, Baby Seats -
All our vehicles have trailer hitches if you want to tow a small boat, jet ski or motorcycle.
You can also hire bike racks and baby seat for an additional
charge.

Camping - In Australia people
can generally camp anywhere as long as it does not say NO camping, however, it depends on the
state. Is really best to camp in a designated campsite and you will find some beautiful ones
along the way. Australia is a safe country so many people feel comfortable
camping.
Rates - Competitive rates range depending on season. If you wish to do a longer term rental we can usually offer discount or lower rates on long term campervan rental.
Campervan Rental Reservations - Use our easy trip planner, to start making your campervan holiday travel plans
today. Minimum 7 days rental required, no maximum, rent campervan for as many days as
you need.
Rental Age - Adults 21 years
and over
Roadside Assistance - We offer
road side assistance with NRMA and will replace vehicle if necessary. However, we take great
care and look after our campervan cars. They are Fords built especially for Australian roads
and in the past have not had any problems with them.
Petrol - All our campervan vehicles are economical to drive.
Currently low octane petrol is about AU$1.00 per liter and high octane is AU$1.35 per liter. All
petrol prices fluctuate and are subject to change without notice.
International Driving Permit - All drivers are required to have
a drivers license issued from their resident country and you should have an International Driver
Permit if you are an international visitor or tourist in Australia. You
can purchase from NRMA or secure one before you leave home from your local automobile
association, motor vehicle department, or insurance company.
